Keith Baumann
Project Manager AML Construction
I am a life long resident of Southern Indiana, primarily Floyd County, born in New Albany. I grew up in Greenville, Indiana, where my parents still live. My brothers Matt and Mark and their families also live in Floyd County. My Son is a Graduate of Ball State with a degree in Professional Selling/Entrepreneurship, and is President/Founder of a regional Dental Operation Services company. My Daughter is an Indiana University Bloomington Graduate, and is set to graduate from the University of Florida this May with a Masters in Kinesiology/Athletic Training.
I graduated from Floyd Central High School and Indiana University Southeast with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. During College, I worked at UPS in Clarksville as a Pre-Load Supervisor, and in 1987 went to work at SAMTEC, Inc. as a Purchasing Specialist. I would eventually hold roles with SAMTEC ranging from Production, Contract, Facilities, and Major Project Management over the course of 32 years, retiring in March of 2019. During this time, I was responsible for building over 1,500,000 square feet of Manufacturing/Admin Support space in the United States, Scotland, Costa Rica, Panama, China, Malaysia, and Vietnam. I consider myself blessed have been associated with SAMTEC, the companies that supported our projects, and the many wonderful SAMTEC associates who supported me. I look to use my experience in Project Management to support River Heritage Conservancy as we engage in building a world class park in the years ahead.
