CROGHAN LAUNCH

Dennis Schnurbusch II, CEO of River Heritage Conservancy, announced the temporary closure of Croghan Launch, effective immediately, for essential maintenance and improvements. Since its opening in March 2023, Croghan Launch has primarily served as a high-water launch for experienced kayakers. In response to feedback from paddling clubs and individual users, the Conservancy has been exploring ways to make the launch more accessible to paddlers of all experience levels while prioritizing safety.

The Conservancy appreciates the community’s patience during this closure. Updates on the progress of repairs and any future plans will be shared on the River Heritage Conservancy website at www.originpark.org.
